P3 Fund Hosts Forum with World Bank

On Tuesday, January 30, 2024, Public Private Partnership Fund (P3 Fund) produced and moderated a pivotal Forum Discussion on Sustainable Tourism at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The event convened stakeholders from across the globe to address the critical nexus between sustainable tourism and the the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Development Agenda of the United Nations.

Organized in collaboration with the UN Staff Recreation Council’s Communications and Technology Club, the forum epitomized the power of partnership in advancing sustainable development goals. Moderated by P3 Fund, the event provided a platform for dialogue among UN agencies, government officials, and private sector representatives, fostering an exchange of ideas and strategies to propel the sustainable tourism agenda forward.

A highlight of the forum was a special presentation by the World Bank Group, showcasing the Atlas for Sustainable Development and spotlighting best practices in sustainable tourism from around the world. Distinguished speakers from organizations such as the Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau and SH Hotels & Resorts lent their expertise to the discussion, emphasizing the transformative potential of sustainable tourism in driving inclusive growth and environmental stewardship.
